Pet Portraits

I love making portraits of your furry family members!! Custom pet portraits are a great way to celebrate how special they are. My goal as a portrait artist is to create an accurate depiction, while also capturing the personality that makes each pet special and unique. My painting style is soft and minimalist, resulting in a classic and timeless representation of your pet. All portraits are hand-painted by me, using professional watercolor pigments, and high-quality paper.

I’ll start with a blank maple wood ornament and prepare it with a professional-grade watercolor ground. Once I’ve painted your pet on the front, I will seal it with a wax medium, to help prevent discoloration or damage. I will also add your pet’s name on the back, and give you a few ribbon colors to choose from!

mini portraits

Mini portraits are my most popular style! At only 3x4”, they are tiny, but still highly detailed, and they make the perfect gift.

I’ll include a custom-cut mat, which will fit in any standard 5x7 frame. These portraits are a great size to style on a shelf, on a gallery wall, or anywhere else you can think of!

The classic bust portrait is a finely detailed portrait of your pet’s head and chest- the perfect way to truly capture even the smallest features that make your pet unique.

Otherwise known as the “personality portrait”! These portraits are 5x7, and are the perfect way to showcase your pet’s signature pose, cute head tilt, or sassy stance. These portraits can also include fun details, such as a collar, bandana, Halloween costume, or their favorite toy.
